Product:
The product for this commercial is the idea of promoting Pantene's products and emphasizing on their tagline: "You Can Shine".
This commercial speaks of an inspirational road to self-confidence, enabling one to shine even if one is different from what the society deems as "normal", capable people. It plays on the emotional journey of a deaf, teenage girl who was inspired by a fellow deaf street violinist to play the violin. Throughout the commercial, we see the growth and the blows dealt to her as she builds up her self-esteem and confidence. In the final scene, as she does the impossible of playing Johann Pachelbel’s Canon in D Major on her wrecked violin, Pantene's logo appears with their tagline "You Can Shine" (with their products).
The underlying message of this commercial is to say that; especially for the ladies, you can shine by unlocking your inner beauty; your hidden potential and talent; and the resulting self-discovery and confidence manifests into beautiful hair (by using Pantene).

This commercial was targetted at the Thai (Ladies) market, and was aired in Thailand's television channels, in cinemas and was subsequently posted online. The inspirational act and cast of the commercial captured the attention of the people(potential buyers) watching it, and played on the buyers' emotions and perspectives toward beauty.

This commercial was released by Procter and Gamble (who owns Pantene) and filmed in Bangkok, Thailand.
Pantene is also an international brand of shampoo so its products can be found in most countries.
